This 5-year-old Belgian Malinois is the kind of dog who makes you tired just watching him - in the best possible way. He will play fetch with you until your arm gives out, and then he'll bring the ball back and look at you like "again?" He loves frisbees, bubbles, other dogs, and people, and he has spent every single day of his life going to work with his owner because being apart just wasn't something either of them wanted to do.

He's not here because anything went wrong. His family moved to a house without a fence, and for a dog with Rocket's energy and prey drive, that wasn't safe. So they did the hard thing and brought him to us. He is loved. He is healthy. He is ready.

Rocket is good with other dogs and thrives on companionship and activity. He has a high prey drive - cats and small animals may be a challenge - and he needs a securely fenced yard where he can run, chase, fetch, and be the athlete he was born to be.

One thing worth knowing: Rocket tested positive for Ehrlichia, a tick-borne illness he was treated for in 2025. He continues to test positive on the 4DX panel, but his vet has indicated it is not currently causing him any problems. His adopter should be aware and continue to monitor.
