Arlo is a loyal, intelligent German Shepherd with a big heart and an even bigger personality. Like most shepherds, he loves being close to his people and wants to be part of whatever is happening, whether that's going for a walk, playing fetch, splashing around with the hose, or relaxing on the couch after a long day.
One of Arlo's favorite things in the world is his babble ball, and he never turns down the chance to chase a ball or cool off in the water. He has a playful, goofy side that keeps life entertaining, but he also knows how to settle down and enjoy quiet time with his family.
Arlo is house trained, crate trained, rides well in the car, and has an impressive obedience foundation. He knows commands including sit, down, stay, come, heel, place, leave it, wait, and more. He enjoys training, loves engaging with his people, and is always eager to be included.
He currently lives successfully with other dogs in foster care, does well with children, and has been neutral with a dog-savvy cat. While he can be strong on leash and benefits from continued exercise and structure, his foster reports no significant behavioral concerns.
