Meet George! A true survivor!

George has already beaten the odds more times than most dogs ever will.

He was born one week premature during an emergency C-section, and he was the only surviving puppy from that litter. :( From the very beginning, the odds were stacked against him. But George had other plans.

Every single day, this little boy has shown us just how much he loves life. He loves attention, he’s incredibly curious, and he has absolutely no problem letting you know what he wants. George is not just surviving — he is thriving!

At less than 3 months old, George is already showing us what a special puppy he is. He’s good with other dogs and curious about cats. He’s young enough to learn how to get along with just about everyone, with proper introductions and guidance. Because he’s going to grow into an energetic, active dog, children in his forever home should be old enough to hang out with an energetic, growing puppy.

And George’s DNA results are quite the combination! He is:

20.2% Dutch Shepherd

George is going to need a family who understands that those genetics come with a need for exercise, training, mental stimulation, and a job to do. He’s going to be happiest with people who want to teach him things, keep him busy, give him plenty of appropriate outlets, and include him in their adventures. He has so much potential, and we want to make sure he gets the opportunity to reach it.

George has already fought hard for his chance at life. Now we want to give him the amazing future he almost didn’t survive long enough to have.

LOCATION & TRANSPORT:

This dog is currently in South Mississippi. Local and out-of-town adopters are welcome. For out of town adopters, we offer virtual meet-and-greets and can arrange transport to many states in the Northeast. (The $450 adoption fee includes transport to the city on this listing. Our transports run every 2-3 weeks to that location.) We cannot adopt to Rhode Island due to import restrictions.

VETTING:

All of our dogs are cleared by a licensed veterinarian for transport and arrive to their adopters spayed/neutered with age-appropriate vaccines completed and are microchipped. NOTE: We cannot guarantee breed mix or full grown size. Both are estimates based on physical characteristics and any known history, and in George's case we are providing DNA test results.
