4 year old Pepsi first arrived at Heartland from Kentucky in 2023, and was almost immediately adopted. Sadly, his loving adopters have experienced some health issues lately and are not able to care for him, so they made the difficult decision to surrender him back to Heartland. All they want for him now is to have a home where he is loved as much as they have loved him.
Pepsi is described by his previous adopters as housetrained and well mannered. He is left to free roam up to 7 hours during the day with no accidents. He knows to sit for treats and loves belly rubs. Pepsi really loves Nylabones, rope toys, and marrow bones. He is great on a leash and the hound in him especially enjoys plenty of sniffing opportunities! A fenced yard would be ideal for him, as he loves to explore and will happily invite himself out to the entire neighborhood if given the chance!
Pepsi has been a good sport being back at Heartland after so long. He's quiet in his kennel and plays so nicely with the other dogs in playgroup! We've all loved seeing him again, but we know what's best for him is to go back to a stable home and routine. He is the perfect age, a great size, and an all-around great boy who we hope gets to start his next chapter very soon!
Come meet him and see if Pepsi is the perfect refreshment for you!
Pepsi's adoption fee is $375. This animal is neutered, up to date on core vaccines, and Heartworm negative.
