Crate trained: yes, she's good in the crate, but reluctant to go in. She may cry for a couple minutes before settling down.

Good in the car: Marcella is best crated, or tied to the seat. She will try to climb onto your shoulders. She will also get car sick on long car rides.

Good on a leash: Yes, she will walk circles around you, but she doesn't pull.

Energy level: Medium, she loves to play with other dogs just as much as she loves to be glued to your side.

Need a fenced in yard: No, but she should be leashed, she's small and can be fearful occasionally, she also likes to chase squirrels.

Dog Friendly: Yes, however she has shown some food aggression so she should be crated when you or her are eating.

Special traits that make your foster special or that we need to know about them? Marcella is quite the little love bug. She can be very nervous at first, but will grow close to her person very quickly. She loves to be as close as she possibly can to you, sitting in your lap, on the back of the couch by your shoulder.. she'll take what she can get. She still has her puppy energy and when she walks with other dogs she does a very cute prance. She prefers women, but will open up to men given a little bit of time. Marcella loves to be carried like she's your baby and will climb your leg asking to be picked up.
