Kittens will receive two rounds of FVRCP before adoption. If a spay/neuter appt is scheduled, it is the adopter's responsibility to keep said appt. If none scheduled, adopter must reach out to rescue when kitten is 4 months old to schedule.



If a cat/kitten is not spay/neutered, adopter must live within an hour of one of our clinics (Georgetown, Dover, Christiana)

Dog friendly. She was cared for in a home with a small friendly dog while she was pregnant and first few weeks with her kittens.



Should be fine around other friendly cats especially another playful buddy. Spent time in the foster home with elderly pet cat without issue.



We strongly recommend kittens being adopted into homes with other cats/kittens. Solo kitten adoptions that place them in a home with no other pets will be discouraged.

**Meet Swifty!**



Swifty is a sweet, social, playful young adult who has been a perfect guest in her foster home. She has stellar litterbox manners, loves to play, and is playful without ever being aggressive. She's also a pretty special girl: Swifty is blind in one eye, but it hasn't slowed her down one bit. She doesn't need any special care—just a little empathy and thoughtfulness as she navigates the world.



And she is FUN! Swifty has learned to play fetch with her foster mom and is completely obsessed with felted wool balls. She also loves a game of “monster under the bed”—she'll hide underneath, wait for you to walk by, and then reach out to surprise you (always with her claws safely tucked away!). She wants to be part of everything you're doing, whether that's answering the door, folding laundry, or simply hanging out nearby.



Swifty had a rough start. She was a community cat fending for herself in a mobile home park until she became pregnant and a kind family with kids and friendly dog began feeding her and gave her a cozy indoor spot to have her 4 kittens . After a week or so when the family could no longer care for her and her babies, they reached out for help. She was an attentive mom, and with the help of her foster family, all four kittens made their way to their forever homes. Now it's her turn.



Swifty is playful, curious, affectionate, and ready to be someone's companion. She's the kind of kitty who wants to be near you rather than on you. She loves chin scratches but can be nervous about being picked up. She particularly loves lounging on the screened porch and has adapted beautifully to her new life as an exclusively indoor cat.
