Meet Whistle!
Whistle is a sweet, happy, and very enthusiastic girl who absolutely loves people and attention! She just completed 10 weeks of training through the Puppies for Parole program, and now she's ready to find her forever family.
Whistle is the kind of dog who wants to be involved in everything. She loves being petted, getting attention, and will happily roll over for belly scratches. She can be very excited to see her people and may try to jump up to greet you.
She does have some quirks that her future family needs to understand. Whistle does not like having her feet, mouth, or ears handled, and she can become defensive during grooming or when receiving vaccinations. She has attempted to bite during grooming and will need appropriate restraint for veterinary care and handling. Her future family will need to continue working with her patiently and respectfully on these sensitivities.
She also has some separation anxiety and can be vocal when she sees people passing by her space, but otherwise she's a fairly quiet girl.
Despite her quirks, Whistle is incredibly sweet and loves her people. She has completed a wonderful training program, and we're excited to see her continue growing with a family who will give her patience, structure, and plenty of love.

Whistle isn't perfect-and she doesn't need to be. She just needs someone willing to understand her, continue her training, and love the sweet girl underneath all that wiggle.
