Bonbon came to Mac's Mission as a breeder release while pregnant. She lovingly raised her final litter in our care, and now she's been spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and is finally ready for a life that's all about her.
And trust us... this sweet girl deserves it.

Bonbon is a 4-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel mix with the happiest little tail you've ever seen. She seems to smile wherever she goes, and if you're within eyesight, she'll make sure she's close enough for pets. In fact, if she notices you're giving attention to another dog, don't be surprised if she quietly scoots right into your lap to remind you she'd like some love too!

Great with dogs, cats, kids, and strangers
Quiet and easygoing
Kennels beautifully
Sleeps great through the night
Loves to follow her people everywhere
Learning potty training and doing wonderfully-she even uses the doggy door on her own!
She isn't much interested in toys. What she really wants is you.

Bonbon's favorite place in the world is curled up in someone's lap. She simply wants to be loved and reassured after the life she's lived. Every now and then she'll hunker down as if she's expecting to be in trouble, a heartbreaking reminder of her past. But with patience, kindness, and cuddles, she's blossoming into the confident little dog she was always meant to be.

We will accept applications on Bonbon for 48 hours only due to the high level of interest we expect and our small volunteer team.
We are happy to adopt to approved applicants out of state, but adopters are responsible for arranging and paying for transportation from Jackson, Missouri.
We are unable to hold dogs for extended periods.
