Libby was from the hoarding situation in Richmond Center, IN. We took several pups when this breeder relinquished them due to the conditions in which they were found. Libby is one of those pups. Libby is estimated to be somewhere around 6-10 years of age. She weighs 28 lbs. She is a female red merle mini Australian Shepherd.

Libby has come a very long way, but is still quite shy and timid, particularly with people. This is understandable based on where she came from and her lack of human exposure. She is crate trained and house trained, and walks very well on a leash. She will require someone who is patient and willing to help her blossom even further. Also, no children under 10 years of age, as they scare her. She also would do best in a slower paced environment. Libby will require a physically fenced yard and a patient adopter. She also would do well with a very outgoing dog in the home that she can take cues from.

Libby LOVES to be brushed and groomed. She has no issues with her paws, ears or coat. Her foster home is still working with her and will continue to find those things that motivate her - high value rewards, attention and love. Libby would really like a home that will be patient with her and meet her where she is and move her foward maybe with some time to settle in and then some puppy classes, where she can gain some confidence.
