Please meet Fiasco, who is lovingly called Ollie by his foster home. Ollie is fostered in Marion, WI.

Ollie is a 5-year-old neutered male Mini Australian Shepherd who is quickly learning the joys of family life. He is a black tri male, weighing 20-25 lbs. He's an incredibly smart boy who loves being part of the household.

Ollie forms strong bonds with his people and tends to attach quickly to "his person." While he may take some time to warm up to new people, both men and women, once he trusts you, he becomes a devoted and affectionate companion.

He gets along well with female dogs and can be selective about his male canine friends. Ollie has a moderate prey drive, so a home with dog-savvy cats would be best. If a cat runs, Ollie is likely to give chase. In fact, his prey drive and athleticism might make him a great candidate for lure coursing or other canine sports, which could be a fun way to channel both his energy and intelligence.

While Ollie loves his people, he can be hesitant around young children. Because of this, a home with older, respectful teenage children would be recommended to help him feel comfortable and secure. Ollie also enjoys being groomed and is always happy to look his best!

One of Ollie's favorite activities is cuddling. He loves being close to his people and will happily claim the softest spot on the couch or bed as his favorite resting place. You will never feel alone with Ollie around! He is also an adventurous guy who loves car rides and hiking, making him a wonderful companion for individuals who enjoy getting out and exploring.

Ollie is doing exceptionally well with house training and does not require a kennel when his family is home or overnight. When left alone, he can experiences some initial barking, so he is kenneled with a lickmat for enrichment and comfort, which helps him settle nicely.
