Sansa is Ready for Her Happily FUREVER After!

Meet Sansa, a gorgeous 2-year-old deaf Australian Shepherd who is ready to find the family she's been waiting for!

After being found as a stray, Sansa has truly blossomed in foster care. She's discovered just how wonderful life can be when you have people who love you, toys to play with, and a cozy place to relax.

Sansa is potty trained, up to date on all vetting and monthly preventatives, and making great progress with both crate training and leash skills. She loves spending time outside, playing with her toys, and especially enjoys a good game of tug-of-war. When playtime is over, this sweet girl is more than happy to settle in for some cuddles and quiet time with her favorite people.

Sansa would do best with one playful canine companion close to her age. While she enjoys having a doggie friend, a busy home with several dogs can be a little overwhelming for her. She really appreciates having plenty of one-on-one attention and would thrive with someone who works from home or is home often. Once Sansa bonds with you, she loves being part of your world.

And don't let her deafness fool you—Sansa is incredibly smart! Deaf dogs can learn beautifully through hand signals, visual cues, and consistency, and Sansa is eager to continue learning with a patient and loving family.

She's playful, affectionate, loyal, and ready to give her whole heart to someone special.

Cats and children are currently unknown, so at this time we are focusing on homes without cats or kids.
