At approximately 14 years young and just under 50 pounds, Casey is ready to trade her wandering days for a cozy bed, a calm home, and a family who believes senior dogs deserve to be spoiled rotten.

And honestly? Casey has earned it.

This incredibly sweet girl absolutely loves to be loved. She enjoys being near her people and will happily follow you from room to room just to keep tabs on what everyone is doing. Don't let her age fool you, either — Casey is no sleepy little old lady! She stays alert and interested in everything happening around her and still enjoys getting out for a couple of slow, short walks each day.

Casey is wonderful with other dogs, cats, and children, making her an easygoing companion for many different types of homes.

Since coming into foster care, Casey has received some much-needed veterinary attention and is feeling so much better. She had several painful teeth removed but still eats normally — and now she can enjoy her meals without discomfort. For a girl her age, she is in remarkably good health.

She currently takes supplements to support her joints and skin, and they have made a tremendous difference. She'd love a forever family willing to continue giving her those healthy extras that help keep her comfortable and feeling her best.

Casey is beginning to lose some of her hearing, although she can still hear you when you call her name loudly. Mostly, she just needs a family who understands that senior life moves at a slightly gentler pace.

Her foster family is going to miss her terribly, but they know Casey deserves a forever home of her very own — one filled with soft beds, leisurely walks, plenty of affection, and maybe a few extra treats just because.
