Hi, I'm Astro!

I'm a 3-year-old Australian Shepherd / Border Collie mix currently being fostered in Beaverton, OR. I'm a sweet, relaxed guy with a big heart who loves being near his people. Most days, you'll find me happily hanging out under the desk while my foster mom works!

About Me & My Skill Set:

• House Manners: Fully potty trained and a pro at using the doggie door.

• Health: Fully vaccinated, neutered and microchipped.

• Favorite Hobbies: Helping water the garden (I love the hose!), hanging out in the yard, and playing a cheeky game of keep-away with mom's glasses or the TV remote when she's not looking. I walk nicely on a leash when wearing my harness. I also like to talk so am a bit barky when I want to play, but am easily redirected. I am learning to play fetch with the ball, but not ball crazy I LOVE belly rubs!

• Car Rides: Getting into the car isn't my favorite, but once I'm inside, I'm super well-behaved.

My Ideal Home: I am friendly with both people and other dogs, but I would thrive best as the only dog in the home so I can soak up all your love, pets, and undivided attention. A home with a fenced yard where I can relax outside would be a dream come true. Older kids are ok, and have not been tested on cats, but may be ok with the proper introductions. I would be a great running/hiking buddy!
