Meet Boomer!

Leash in hand, Boomer's tousled black-and-white coat bouncing at the door, brown eyes asking "are we going?" That's life with this 8-month-old Doodle. Leash walks, car rides, and long hikes are his favorite things, period.

Boomer is a sweet, shy guy. New people and new situations take a minute, but once he's comfortable, his personality shines. He'll show off "touch," "leave it," and "focus" for a reward, and he'll happily carry a squeaky toy from room to room. Positive reinforcement training is a great way to bond with him and watch his confidence grow.

He's looking for patient people who'll let him settle in at his own pace. He has little experience being alone, so we'll help you plan those first weeks together. Respectful kids who give him space may be a good fit. His experience with cats is unknown.

His adoption fee is sponsored by Fox Marquette Subaru through Subaru Share the Love! The event runs October 1-31, while sponsorship funds last.
