Mishka - Alaskan Malamute Dog for Adoption in Gwinn, Michigan

Meet Mishka, your future fluffy shadow!

Seven months old and every bit a purebred Alaskan Malamute, Mishka is all fluff, sparkle, and puppy joy. Her previous family described her as loyal, loving, and happiest right by her person's side. What she wants most is a place at the heart of your home.

Picture it: crisp autumn air, a leaf-crunching walk, and a happy girl trotting beside you. Back home, a few treats and plenty of praise turn learning new skills into her favorite game. Training together is a wonderful way to build a bond that lasts.

Then comes her favorite part of the day. The house goes quiet, the fireplace glows, and Mishka settles in beside you on the couch while you read a book or watch your next TV show. Adventure outside, comfort inside, and her people all around her.

Mishka is a natural fit for an active family who loves daily playtime and time outdoors. She enjoys other dogs and has lived with cats, and she's still polishing her kitty manners. We'd love to chat about how she'd fit into your household!

Mishka just got a spa day thanks to one of our wonderful volunteers, and her coat has never looked more luxurious!

Her adoption fee is sponsored by Fox Marquette Subaru through Subaru Share the Love! The event runs October 1-31, while sponsorship funds last.

Ready to meet her? Fill out an adoption interest form on our website.

Open noon-4 p.m. daily, closed Mondays. Walk-ins welcome, no appointment needed. For dog meets, please bring your resident dogs and your whole human household.
