ROXIE - BEAUTY, BRAINS & A SLIGHT TENNIS BALL OBSESSION

Meet Roxie, a 2.6-year-old, 41-lb spayed Aussie who showed up with icy blue eyes, a gorgeous fluffy merle coat, and the very reasonable belief that there should always be at least one tennis ball within throwing distance.

Roxie's world changed when her owner had to move into a nursing home, leaving this beautiful girl without the person and home she knew. Now she's ready to start a brand-new chapter with a forever family who will love her just as much - and preferably maintain a healthy inventory of tennis balls. Approximately 400 should suffice.

Roxie loves people, loves other dogs, and LOVES playing ball. She's smart, intelligent, house trained, walks well on leash, and already knows basic obedience. Basically, somebody already installed the software - you just get to enjoy the Aussie operating system. And yes, it comes with opinions.

She's the perfect combination of gorgeous and goofy, with that classic Aussie brain always ready for something fun. Roxie would love an active family who will include her in their adventures and give her plenty of opportunities to play, explore, and use that brilliant little brain.

And Colorado? Ohhhh, Roxie is READY. Between the trails, lakes, mountains, dog friends and endless opportunities to yell "BALL!" at inappropriate times, she has an entire new world waiting for her.

Roxie lost the home she knew through circumstances completely beyond her control. Now she's ready to find the one she'll never have to leave.

Bring the love. Bring the adventures.

And for the love of Roxie, BRING THE TENNIS BALLS.

*About us*
All Aboard saves animals from euthanasia lists at high-kill shelters, giving them a ticket for a second chance. With a passionate team we are a foster-based animal rescue, partnering with the community to provide shelter and resources prioritizing the animals' well-being.

Every adoption fee directly helps a rescued animal make it safely from a shelter to a loving home. As a nonprofit, we put these fees right back into vet care, food, transport, and all the support to help the next animal.
You're not just adopting, you're saving a life and fueling another rescue journey!

*Our Mission*
At All Aboard Animal Rescue, our mission is to address the global pet overpopulation crisis through rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming.
We are dedicated to making a difference by providing essential resources and compassionate care to enhance the quality of life for animals. As their voice, we advocate for their well-being by raising awareness about the shelter crisis, promoting responsible pet guardianship, and ensuring the compassionate treatment of all animals.

*Our Vision*
We envision a world where every animal is understood with empathy, treated with kindness and respect, and where the unique bond between humans and animals is cherished - enriching all lives.

*Spay & Neuter is required by law in Colorado, helping to break the cycle of unwanted litters.*

The Australian Shepherd is a highly intelligent and energetic herding dog known for its loyalty and work ethic. Originating in the United States, despite its name, this breed is prized for its agility, trainability, and versatility in various dog sports and activities. Australian Shepherds have a distinctive medium length coat that comes in different colors, often with unique merle patterns. With proper training, socialization, and exercise, these dogs make excellent companions for active families and individuals seeking a devoted and playful four legged friend.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
