*IMPORTANT NOTE: Gus has severe allergies. He is looking for an adopter that is financially capable of continuing his needed veterinary care. Gus's adopter will be chosen based on who is the best fit, so his adoption process will take longer than typical.*

Meet Gus: This 3.5yearold Basset Hound with a heart as big as his ears. Gus was surrendered due to significant allergies, but his spirit is as strong as ever. He's incredibly sweet, bonds hard and fast, and believes wholeheartedly that life is best lived right next to his person.
Gus isn't your typical couchpotato Basset. This guy loves his walks and needs several long ones each day to stay happy. He does have separation anxiety and isn't a fan of being left alone, so he's hoping for a home where someone is around more often than not and willing to continue his training. If you forget to give him attention, don't worry... he'll howl a reminder. Gus is goofy, loving, and full of charm. He's a perfect companion for someone who wants a devoted sidekick.

We are a foster-based rescue and generally do not have animals at our office, and not all animals attend adoption events. To coordinate a meet and greet with a specific animal please contact us!
We can only finalize adoptions at events for approved adopters. The earlier you apply, the better, it takes time to review and approve applications!
We host adoption events almost every Saturday from *11:00 AM to 2:00 PM* around the Fort Collins community!
