At just 6 weeks old, Brutus is already proving he was born to be someone’s very best friend. This sweet little boy is equal parts playful puppy and professional cuddle buddy. While he enjoys romping around and exploring like any happy puppy, his absolute favorite place to be is right next to his people.

Brutus is what we lovingly call a “stage 5 clinger” because if you sit down, he’s in your lap. If you walk away, he’s right behind you. If you’re looking for a puppy who wants to be your constant companion and shower you with love, this little guy is your dream come true.

Like far too many puppies in Texas, Brutus didn’t start life with the safety every puppy deserves. Thankfully, he’s now thriving in foster care where he’s learning all about love, comfort, and how wonderful it is to be part of a family.

As he grows, Brutus will need a family committed to helping him learn all the puppy basics including crate training, house training, leash walking, and good manners. He’s still just a baby, so patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement will help him blossom into an amazing adult dog.

Brutus has a soft, loving personality that makes everyone around him fall instantly in love. Whether he’s curled up in your arms, following you room to room, or snuggling up for nap time, this boy just wants to be close to his humans.
