The Winter Olympics may be over, but this Olympian will have your heart fur-ever! Meet Tofu Bode Olympians, an approx. 3-month-old (5/26) Heeler / Husky mix, weighing 21 pounds (as of 5/26/26). This top athlete was surrendered by his owners through no fault of his own. His parentage is unknown so he's likely a mix of many different wonderful breeds! His most important quality, however, is the love he'll give to his future coach i.e. YOU!

With a coat as white as snow and eyes as blue as a frozen lake, Tofu was destined to be an ice hockey star! He's got the kind of face that makes everyone stop and smile. But the best part is that he's not just adorable; he's sweet, affectionate, curious, playful, and wants to be around people and other dogs! He loves attention, being part of the action, chilling, and has a really happy, loving personality. If you’re looking for a dog that’ll be the envy of all at the park, a great snuggler who’s down for watching TV by your side at night, or a buddy to hike with on the weekends, Tofu is your guy. What more could you ask for!

He’s a champ at dog wrestling and more than holds his own, even when playing with dogs twice his size. He’s destined to be the alpha dog of your neighborhood. He also gets along kids and hopes to one day meet a cat so they can become his #1 fan.

Tofu is also very smart and learns fast. Potty training has been amazing with him! He hasn't had a single accident with his owners!! He barks when he needs to go out, and will even pee on command once he is outside. As long as he goes outside right after naps, first thing in the morning, and before bed, he consistently does his business outside. He sleeps through the night in his crate, spends time alone in the crate during the day (3-4 hrs in the afternoon), and knows basic commands like: sit, come, leave it, drop it, and stop/uh-uh. He chews on bones (loves Himalayan chew sticks) not furniture, and is quick to understand corrections. Tofu is still a puppy, so he gets excited and distracted, but when you work with him, he picks things up quickly! Can you say "genius"? He sure can!

Tofu is the perfect combo of playful and chill. He’s also proven to be a natural at fetch with tennis balls and toys. He will likely do best in a home with plenty of space to run and play. He is truly the perfect pup who would grow up to be your best friend and the ideal family dog!

Get ready to win gold with the Tofu Olympians! Adopt him today!

All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

PLEASE READ: If a dog is listed, then s/he is currently available for adoption. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. From time to time we receive new information/photos of a dog and we do recreate their listing, which means their old listing link will no longer be valid. If you are considering a dog but don't apply right away please make sure to search for the dog by name if the link you have no longer works.

Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Note that if the dog is listed as an "Out of town pet" there are NOT additional transport fees - it is included in our adoption fee Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted. To learn more about our *shelterless* rescue, adoption fees, and procedures, review the list of Frequently Asked Questions on our website at WWW.GDRNE.COM.
