Meet Poppy Sweetpea, a 5-and-a-half-month-old Parsons Terrier/Lakeland Terrier mix, weighing 17 pounds (as of 4/26/26). The SWEETPEA litter may also have other medium dog breeds in them including Hound, other types of Terriers, Golden Retriever, Collie, Lab and more! It's a fun surprise every time! These pups hail from Tennessee and even though they were surrendered by owners who could no longer take care of them, they're looking forward to joining a wonderful family who will! They hope it's yours!
Poppy is a fireball! She loves to be the center of attention and lead the way, no spotlight required! She has done well with older pups, especially being "it" in a game of tag and will also let them chase her around. You'll never have to guess what Poppy's thinking because this girl's a talker. She'll be the first to let everyone know when she's arrived, which is great 'cause you’ll never lose her! She has also done well on an overnight stay and is going to need a busy family to keep her involved and loved.
The Sweetpea litter are a wonderful group of pups! They're happy, fun, and have the playful energy to keep any family busy and entertained. They don't have experience with cats yet, but maybe one day! They get along with other dogs and will enjoy charming every child they meet! They'll need patience with basic puppy training (leashes, potty, commands, etc) but they know how to use a crate. What's sweeter than a sweetpea? Nothing! Bring these lovable pups home now!
All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application.
