***Please note, once completing the initial screen you will be connected with the placement for a video chat. Transports run every few weeks and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time***

We are a volunteer run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog.


Latte, 1 years old, spayed female, Staffordshire Terrier/Retriever mix, 52 pounds. She is located in a foster home in Houston, Texas and is able to transport out of state.

Latte is an energetic young dog who is thriving in her foster home thanks to consistent structure, guidance, and positive reinforcement. She is eager to please, highly treat-motivated, and loves learning new things. Latte already knows sit and down, and she’s continuing to work on her leash manners. She is nervous walking in new environments and tends to hang back. Her foster mom is practicing taking her to new places to build her confidence. She does not have any reaction to passing people or other dogs on walks.

Latte has really grown since being rescued in December 2025. This has occurred both to natural maturity and the structure her foster mom has provided. She does great with another dog and is an active/playful companion. She has met small dogs and puppies. She has also been around small kids and babies where she has shown she is very gentle.

Latte is a high-energy girl who would do best in an active home that can provide regular physical outlets and continued training. She would absolutely love having another active dog who enjoys play, as she can be very excited and bouncy around new dogs. If she is the only dog in the home, she will need daily exercise and enrichment to help her thrive.

Latte is great with people and kids, with no concerns noted. She is fully house trained and does well in her crate, where she is crated for about four hours at a time before being let out into the backyard or home. She has no issues going in or out of the crate and does not appear to have separation anxiety.

Above all, Latte is a loving, affectionate puppy who truly wants to do the right thing. With her eagerness to learn and loving nature, she will make a wonderful companion for an active family ready to continue helping her grow into the amazing dog she’s becoming.

Please note our process starts with an application. If we think you might be a good fit, we will reach out to coordinate a phone interview. This is followed by a video call with the foster home. Virtual home visit, personal and vet reference checks are required to complete the process. Transport is included in our adoption donation.
