Crescent is a fluffy little lowrider with a sweet face, a soft heart, and a personality that is slowly coming out from behind the curtain. At 4 years old and 30 pounds, this terrier mix has a lot of love to give—he just likes to make sure you're worthy of it first.
Crescent came into rescue with his friends Twila and Tagalong, but he's ready to step into his own spotlight. He's a shy guy who is learning that people can be kind, hands can be gentle, and new experiences don't have to be scary.
He's not the type to charge into a room and immediately introduce himself to everyone. Crescent prefers to take a little time, observe what's happening, and decide when he's ready to participate. Consider it his thoughtful approach to making friends. He's learning to trust, and every little bit of progress is another piece of his personality coming through.
His name feels pretty fitting. Crescent isn't trying to be a full moon on day one—he's gradually showing more of himself as he feels safe and comfortable. Give him patience, consistency, and a little encouragement, and you'll get to watch that little crescent grow.
Crescent is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and tested negative for heartworm on his 4DX test. He's looking for a family who understands that trust is something you build, and who will be happy to take the journey with him.
