Flutie has spent 10 years perfecting the art of being someone's beloved little companion, so she's not exactly interested in rushing through introductions with strangers. She'd much rather take her time and make sure you've earned a place in her inner circle.
This 10-year-old Chihuahua weighs 14 pounds and is a loving girl who has a lot of affection to give once she feels comfortable. After spending her whole life with her person, Flutie is learning that her world can change without losing all the good things in it.
She's not looking for a whirlwind romance. Flutie is more of a slow-burn love story—the kind where trust grows quietly, routines become comforting, and one day you realize this little dog has completely wrapped herself around your heart.
Her name may be Flutie, but she's no one-and-done kind of girl. She's ready for a family willing to give her the time she needs and, in return, give her the soft, peaceful, love-filled senior years she deserves.
Flutie is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and tested negative on her 4DX for heartworm and tick-borne disease.
If you have room in your heart for a senior sweetheart and the patience to let her choose you in her own time, Flutie is ready for her next chapter—and hopefully her forever one.
