Howard - Labradoodle Dog for Adoption in Phoenix, Arizona

Howard is 63 pounds of handsome Labradoodle charm, with the manners of a gentleman and the transportation skills of a seasoned road-trip veteran. At 6 years old, he's sweet, social, and already has two important life skills mastered: walking beautifully on a leash and riding like a champ in the car.

Howard is the kind of dog who makes going places easy. He knows how to enjoy a good walk without turning it into a tug-of-war and apparently considers car rides a perfectly reasonable way to spend an afternoon. His ideal day may involve a little adventure, a little companionship, and plenty of time hanging out with his favorite people.

For the next 4–6 weeks, Howard is following a special diet while he gets through treatment for bladder stones. He's handling his temporary menu change like a true professional. Think of it as a short-term wellness plan for a guy who has bigger plans than spending his days at the vet.

His name may be Howard, but we're leaning toward “How About We Take Howard Home?” He's a handsome, well-mannered guy with a sweet personality and the kind of easygoing presence that makes having a big dog around feel like a very good idea.

Howard is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and tested negative for heartworm on his 4DX test. He's ready for a family who will stick with his special diet for a little while and then get back to the important business of enjoying walks, car rides, and all the good things life has to offer.
