Meet Handsome!

Handsome is a 3-year-old boy with a big personality and an even bigger love for playtime. He came from living outdoors, so hes still learning that indoor life is pretty great. Every day he becomes a little more confident and comfortable.

If youve got a wand toy or a laser pointer, youll have a best friend for life! Handsome absolutely loves to play and has a lot of energy! One of his cutest quirks is pouncing with his mouth wide open when he's excited, and if you pick him up and give him a little stretch, hell happily stretch right back and make the sweetest little noise.

While hes not quite the type to climb into your lap on his own just yet, hes learning that cuddles are pretty nice too. If you scoop him up for some affection, hes more than happy to settle in and enjoy the attention. Hes still discovering that couches and cozy blankets are safe, comfy places, and its lovely seeing his confidence grow.

Handsome gets along well with other cats, but he would do best with a playful feline friend who can match his energy. He's still working on reading other cats signals when playtime is over, so a confident, energetic companion would suit him best.

Because Handsome is still learning appropriate play manners and can get a little carried away when hes excited, we think hed do best in a home without young children. Hed thrive with someone who understands cats, enjoys interactive play, and is happy to give him the time and patience he needs to continue blossoming.

One thing to know about Handsome: he's quite the little escape artist! Since he spent time outdoors, hes very curious about whats beyond the front door, so his future family will need to be mindful when coming and going.

Our adoption fees cover vetting and include spay/neuter, vaccines (initial FVRCP and rabies), flea treatment, two dewormings and microchipping.

Adoption fees are $250 for each adult cat 1 year or older. Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.
