Domestic Short Hair Cats Available for Adoption in Vaughan, Ontario

This handsome boy would eat from the hand of his feeder, then sit and cry at her door. On occasion when the door was open, he would march in and make himself comfortable. The feeder has a cat, but we are unsure if they interacted. Marshall is just too tame to be a member of a cat colony, so we are seeking a family of loving people and friendly cats for him to belong to.

Marshall is a dapper looking cat with a black half mask, a soul patch, and a black cape with a white streak right down the centre. He can channel his Phantom persona or be the superhero of your dreams, it doesn’t matter as he can do both! Once he settles comfortably into a routine of regular yummy grubs, soft bed, and people to pet him, Marshall is wholly convinced that this is what he has been missing all his life and making up for lost time by indulging in every creature comfort that comes his way.

Marshall is a chatty fellow and loves to follow you around and commenting on everything he has an opinion on. He is the most social in the evenings when you come home, he can then tell you all about his day and you can do the same. Spending time with his humans is now a favourite part of his everyday routine, and he just wants to hang out and be close. Although he is still a bit jumpy if his person moves while petting him, that will diminish with time and familiarity. It’s soothing to simply pet him and listen to his steady purrs. Best stress buster, guaranteed!

Marshall is also an empathetic soul happy to snuggle in bed with you if you are feeling under the weather. With Marshall around, loneliness is a thing of the past. This sweet cat is so happy to be safely indoors, he will spend all his days expressing his gratitude with meows and cuddles.

Our adoption fees cover vetting and include spay/neuter, vaccines (initial FVRCP and rabies), flea treatment, two dewormings and microchipping.

Adoption fees are $250 for each adult cat 1 year or older. Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.
