**NOTE: All AVA kittens under 12 months of age MUST be adopted in pairs or to a home with another young cat. AVA does not accept applications for single kittens*

***Clementine’s nervousness is greatly eased by sister Caramel’s reassuring presence, and the girls must remain together as they journey on to their forever home.

Oh, hello there. My name is Clementine. How’d I get my name, you might ask? Well, I’m orange just like a Clementine and my personality is just as sweet.

I’m a pretty low energy cat. I’m happiest to sit back and watch the action unfold. I spend my days cuddling with my sister Caramel and my evenings judging my brother Chip’s parcore. I don’t love change, I’m a sucker for a routine. It takes me some time to warm up to people but once I do, boy are you in for a treat!

I’m a bit of a goofball in my own way. I may be 7 months old, but I have the voice of a newborn kitten. I’ve been known to flash the occasional Jim Halpert smirk at the camera. I’m especially funny at mealtime. Sometimes my foster mom is confused if I’m even a cat at all as when I get super excited for food, I sometimes stand on my back legs and chirp.

Caramel and I are a package deal, she’s my constant in an ever changing world. But, we’d both be happiest if we could go to our forever home with our awesome brother Chip as well.

If you’re looking for an easygoing companion full of laughs, come meet me, via Zoom, at my foster home. I can’t wait to meet my forever family... could that be you?

Would you like to make Clementine and Caramel a part of your family? Please complete our online application found at: https://www.avacats.org/adoption-application-form.

Our adoption fees cover vetting and include spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccines (initial FVRCP and rabies), flea treatment, two dewormings and microchipping.

Adoption fees are $275 for each kitten up to 12 months old. Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.

All AVA kittens 12 months or younger must be adopted in pairs or go to a home with another young cat (3 years or younger). Kittens learn from each other how to behave, which helps them turn into well-adjusted adult cats. In general, paired cats have happier and healthier lives because they have a constant companion and playmate. Plus, it's twice the fun for you, and half the work!
