Eartha - Tabby Cat for Adoption in Maple Ridge, British Columbia

Hi, I'm Eartha! I'm a sweet 1 year old kitty who travelled all the way from the Island with my friends, the Vineyard Cats. At first, we were fearful of people, and not quite sure what to think of these big, two-legged creatures. But we're learning that they can be safe and kind and bring lots of good things, like yummy treats! I'm a bit of a wallflower and prefer to sit on the sidelines, watching my friends zoom around and play. Even though I'm still quite shy, my bravery is growing every day, and I'm becoming more curious of my human friends. I'm not quite ready for hands-on affection, but if you sit quietly with me, I'll happily accept a few soft, gentle pets from the people I've learned to trust. I really am a soft-hearted, friendly girl with so much love tucked away in my little heart, and I cant wait to share it with my future family.

I'm looking for a special cat-savvy home that understands shy kitties like me take time to fully blossom. But with patience, love, and encouragement, I'll show you what a wonderful companion I can be. A busy home with young children would be too loud and overwhelming for me, but I think I'd do well with older, mature teenagers who are gentle and can respect my space. My biggest wish would be to be adopted with one of my Vineyard pals—we've been through so much together! But if that's not meant to be, I will need a friendly, confident resident cat in my future home who can show me the ropes, keep me company, and help me continue building my confidence. I'm a healthy girl who always uses her litter box.
