Meet Smudge

This under-a-year-old heartthrob is equal parts charm, cuddles, and comedy. With his signature little black diamond marking on his nose, Smudge is as unique as he is lovable—but it’s his personality that truly steals the show.

Smudge is obsessively cuddly and outrageously affectionate. He doesn’t just love people—he adores them. He’ll happily melt into your arms, be carried around like a baby, and purr so hard his tiny tongue sometimes sticks out (yes, it’s as cute as it sounds). He’s incredibly social and thrives on connection, whether it’s with humans or his feline friends.

Speaking of friends—Smudge is a total cat’s cat. He loves everyone, from playful kittens to laid-back older cats, and would be happiest in a home with a buddy. He’d especially love to be adopted with his foster pal Maverick, or into a home with another friendly, playful cat to keep him company.

And just when you think he couldn’t get any better—Smudge is also a bit of a goofball. He’s been known to get so wrapped up in rolling around for pets and belly rubs that he literally falls off the bed. It’s all part of his irresistible charm.

Adoption fees are as follows: $175 for a single cat or kitten, $225 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.
