Senior sweetheart alert! Claire is a stunning 16-year-old long-haired torbie with the gentlest soul and the softest eyes. This beautiful girl came into care after her beloved original owner passed away, and she is now looking for a quiet, loving home where she can relax and be cherished.

Claire is the definition of chill. She enjoys her peaceful routine and tends to pick a cozy spot and settle in for a good stretch of time. Every so often, she’ll take a little stroll just to check things out—but her favorite place is wherever she feels safe and comfortable.

Don’t let her calm lifestyle fool you, though—Claire absolutely loves attention. She soaks up affection like sunshine and will happily lean into gentle pets and companionship. She also has a playful little side that still peeks through, reminding everyone that she’s got plenty of spirit left.

Wet food? Claire is a big fan. Mealtime is serious business in her world, and she fully appreciates every bite.

She has lived peacefully with respectful dogs and cats, showing she can adapt well to calm, polite companions. Claire is also front declawed, so a safe, indoor-only lifestyle is especially important for her comfort and well-being.

Adoption fees are as follows: $175 for a single cat or kitten, $225 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.
