Meet Taz đź–¤
This sleek little panther with stunning golden eyes is an athlete, a softie, and a bit of a secret snuggler all rolled into one.
By day, Taz trains like he’s headed to the Olympics. We’re talking serious dedication—his specialty? The pole vault (a.k.a. launching himself into the air with impressive, gravity-defying leaps). He plays hard, fast, and with his whole heart… you may even have to tell him when it’s time to take a break.
Taz can be a little shy with people at first, but he has a sneaky, sweet side. When the house quiets down, he’ll quietly join you in bed. And if you happen to wake up and notice him? That’s your moment. Scoop him up, curl him into a tiny ball, and he’ll melt into you—purring and purring like he’s been waiting all day for that exact snuggle.
He absolutely adores other cats and is incredibly affectionate with them, especially his sister Moochie. He’d do best in a home with a feline companion (bonus points if it’s Moochie!).
Taz also has a very relatable weakness: snacks. Mealtime turns him into a brave little guy who suddenly forgets all about being shy—especially if Churus are involved.
And when it’s time to wind down? Bring out the fluffy blankets. Taz is completely hypnotized by them and loves being wrapped up like a cozy burrito for bedtime.
If you’re looking for a playful, slightly shy boy with a hidden snuggly side (and Olympic-level hops), Taz is ready to stick the landing right into your heart.
Taz is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting him, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.
Adoption fees are as follows: $175 for a single cat or kitten, $225 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.
