This beautiful tortie girl has a gentle soul and a heart that's just waiting to bloom. Tia came to Heartland alongside her friend, Christy, after they were surrendered to Chicago Animal Care and Control when their family had to move to housing that didn't allow cats. Through all the changes, Tia has remained a quiet, sweet companion who simply needs a little time and patience to feel safe.

While she may be shy when meeting new people, Tia is the kind of cat who will reward your kindness with quiet companionship as she gains confidence. She enjoys peaceful surroundings where she can observe the world at her own pace and would love a family that understands that the best friendships are sometimes the ones that grow slowly.

Tia is spayed, up-to-date on her FVRCP and Rabies vaccines and she is FIV and FeLV negative.

She is currently staying at our Heartland Facility! We are open Thursday 4 pm-7 pm, Friday 4 pm-7 pm, Saturday Noon-6 pm, and Sunday Noon-6 pm. Feel free to stop by to meet her! No appointment necessary.
