** In order to adopt a kitten from HSMC, you must live within an hour of the shelter. You will initially "foster to adopt" the kitten and then the adoption will be finalized when they are brought back for their spay/neuter surgery. You may need to bring the kitten back for vaccines and exams prior to their spay/neuter surgery**
This little darling is, Micro. This sweet little girl was born around 6/8/26, so she's just 10 weeks old. This impossibly adorable girl and her sister have been lucky enough to spend their time in a foster home since coming to us, and that is where Nano still resides.
Since this cutie has been raised in a foster home, she is well acclimated to handling and loves to snuggle up with her foster mom and other kittens too. Her sister is a little on the bossy side and not always kind to Nano, so she tends to prefer the company of other kittens and her foster mom, more that she does her sister.
Micro's foster mom says that she is a super sweet, and loving cuddlebug! This fun-filled girl loves spending her days snuggled up with her mom, napping with her foster sisters, and finding the coziest spot in the house for a kitten-sized snooze. When she's feeling playful, you'll find her chasing springs, batting around bell balls, and scaling cat towers.
This sweetheart would LOVE to be adopted with another kitten if you don't already have a feline in your home, may we suggest adopting another kitten pal for her, but probably not her sister, Nano! It's IDEAL for kittens to be adopted in pairs. Kittens adopted in pairs do SO MUCH better than kittens adopted alone. They are better adjusted and socialized, less "bitey", generally happier, plus no one can play with a kitten the way that another kitten can. Trust us when we tell you, you don't want a Kittenzilla loose in your home! Look up, "Single Kitten Syndrome". It's a real thing and it's REALLY no fun for people or the kitten. Plus you save two lives instead of one!
Being so young, this little doll would do just fine in most any home. As mentioned, a kitty friend would be ideal, a cat-friendly dog would likely work out well too! Care must be taken to protect her tiny size from being stepped on, sat on, hurt by a larger animal, or unintentionally injured by young children.
Would you like to meet this cutie and maybe another HSMC kitten as well? If so, please complete an application and schedule a meet and greet. Remember that this little sweetie resides in a foster home and is not at the shelter, so a meet and greet must be scheduled!
