** In order to adopt a kitten from HSMC, you must live within an hour of the shelter. You will initially "foster to adopt" the kitten and then the adoption will be finalized when they are brought back for their spay/neuter surgery. You will need to bring the kitten back for vaccines and exams prior to their spay/neuter surgery**
This is the cute as can be Pansy. Sweet Pansy was found as a tiny, ill stray kitten and brought to the shelter so that we could get her healthy and help her find her loving forever home. She's now healed and healthy and on the prowl for her loving forever home!
This cutie pie has an estimated birthdate of 4/22/26, so she's just a few months old. Pansy is a sweet little girl with a fun-filled personality. She loves being picked up and she loves getting lots of pets and attention. This little charmer fires up her purr motor as soon as she is picked up and cuddled, or really given any attention at all. As much as Pansy is into cuddling and being loved on, she also loves to play too, and she loves the other kittens in our kitten room. This is really important for her too, as she was found as a lone kitten. Lone kittens tend to not be well socialized, so we always make sure that they get some quality time with other kittens their age. It would be wonderful to see her adopted with another HSMC kitten, and we have lots of them! Kittens do best when they have a companion, and have less long term behavioral issues. Single Kitten Syndrome is a real thing, and no one wants a Kittenzilla in their home! Plus when you adopt two kittens, you save two lives instead of one!
We don't know for sure how Pansy is with dogs, but considering her young age, we think that she would be fine with them. Of course care must be taken to protect sweet, Pansy due to her small size.
Would you like to meet this little sweetheart and hopefully another HSMC kitten too? If so please fill out an application, and once you're approved, we will call you to schedule a meet and greet!
