Meet Wave!

Our summer is still going strong with the arrival of our "beach kitten" litter at the HSCC adoption center. Surf, Sand, Wind and Wave have been growing big and strong in a loving foster home and are now ready to find their next favorite humans! They have all been described as "perfect kittens" by their fosters. We couldn't agree more!

They are all equal parts playful and cuddly. They certainly will be active, curious and need lots of playtime and enrichment but once they've used up their energy they will be eager to settle in with their people for a nap. Their foster describes the heart-melting experience of them looking deeply into your eyes with a nice, loud purr. To continue their path toward becoming well adjusted adult cats with healthy habits, please plan on having time and energy to provide a kitten with a lot of opportunities for playtime (not with fingers or toes -- always use toys!), enriching activities, respectful handling and social interactions. In addition to lots of excess energy to expend during play, kittens also have a lot of social needs, so consider bringing him into a family as a playmate for your current cat, adopting with a sibling, or even consider bringing another kitten or cat home in the future!
