Meet Nala!

This beautiful girl was originally adopted from HSCC and recently returned to us due to circumstances beyond her owner's control. Nala shared an incredible bond with her person, and the love between them was evident. In return for the years of companionship that she gave them,
they chose to surrender Nala so that she can live the life she deserves.

Nala has a huge heart and is waiting to give it to a lucky family. Her coat is plush, and she leans in to petting with her whole body. Nala loves a good snack, and takes food from your hand with a delicacy you wouldn't expect from a dog of her size. After a nice walk, Nala loves to sit and watch the world or lay in a patch of sunlight.

Nala can be shy when she first meets a new person, but with a bit of patience and some string cheese you'll be friends in no time. If you've got a couch that you're looking to share and two hands ready to give chest scritches and belly rubs this may be the perfect dog for you.

Dogs: Nala does not enjoy sharing space with other dogs, and would do best as the only dog in her home.
Cats: Nala has a history of living with cats, and did well with them.
Kids: Nala's former owner said that she was gentle with the children she met, but she's never lived with any kiddos. We think she could enjoy sharing her home with older kids.
