Meet Noni!

Noni is a very sweet and sensitive girl looking for a new home with a family that will be patient and understanding as she settles in and builds trust. She will prefer a home where there won't be lots of activity, instead preferring a predictable and low-key routine consisting of quiet nights with a favorite tv show or book, cozy blankets and lots of snuggles.

Noni came to HSCC when she was no longer able to stay in her previous home due to her medical needs. She has now recovered from two surgeries while at HSCC and is feeling much more comfortable. With a new lease on live and a special urinary health diet, she is ready to start her next chapter! When she is feeling safe and comfortable she is so lively and full of personality. She really is a special little girl that has stolen all of our hearts.

In a new home, being proactive about setting up the environment to support feline behavioral needs and reduce stress will be important. Cat trees and other elevated surfaces increase the living space available for a cat and help them feel more confident. Noni also loves to have cozy spots to hide when she's feeling unsure or nervous, and setting her up in a single "safe room" while she adjusts will be essential.

Cats: Noni has previously displayed stress behaviors related to living with other cats. Noni is looking for a home without other cats.
Dogs: Noni has previously displayed stress behaviors related to living with dogs. Noni is looking for a home without dogs.
Children: Noni has previously lived with older children and done well. Noni is looking for a home with adults only, or with respectful, quiet older children.
