Meet Banksy, a certified lover boy who has embraced the pampered indoor life! He is approximately 1.5 years old.

This affectionate, playful black cat loves to curl up next to you on the couch or on your lap while youre on the computer. He is always down to chase after a wand toy, and never misses a chance to finish off his foster siblings leftovers.

Banksy was found living in a crawlspace, so he may be shy at first in a new home. However, he has made tremendous progress in foster care and is usually won over quickly with food, treats, and play. He is extremely food-motivated and will happily supervise your meals in case you decide to share.

He loves pets and chin scratches but can occasionally get overstimulated and give a gentle love bite or playful swat when he's had enough.

Banksy would do fine as a solo cat but would also enjoy having a feline friend. He has been a great foster brother to a rather cranky and antisocial resident cat. He is curious, friendly, and respectful of other cats, and loves to chase his playmate around the house.

What Banksys looking for in a home:

- He is new to indoor life with humans, so he needs a kind and patient guide to help him continue adjusting. Loud noises, fast movements, and strangers make him nervous.
- He has lots of energy and will benefit from plenty of active play time.
- He feels at ease in a quiet and calm environment.
- He needs to live indoors only.
- He has a positive history with other cats and may like having a feline friend close to his age.
- He has no known history with dogs.
- He has no known history with children.

All Alley Cat Projects cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated prior to adoption.

Alley Cat Project adoption fees are:

- $200 per cat or kitten
- $350 for pair of cats or kittens
- $50 for senior cat (over 8 years old)
- Flexible reduced fees for a cat with a chronic medical condition that requires ongoing care
- Additional charitable donations are appreciated and support our overall rescue efforts
