Gurathin and Rin - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Seattle, Washington

Meet Gurathin and Rin, a pair of kitten siblings! They are approximately 3 months old.

Rins fur has a mask and mantle pattern. She loves playing, jumping and doing all things kitten, but there is nothing she loves more than sitting on your lap. Or your shoulder. She loves making eye contact with you and purring. She stands on her 2 hind legs like a prairie dog, waddles her behind back and forth when she sees a pounce-worthy opponent, and waddles when she wants to look especially cute. She steals the heart of everyone who stops by with her gentle affection and all over cuteness.

Gurathins medium-length fur is velvety soft black/grey and has a fever coat. Of his 5 siblings, he is the most gentle-natured, quick-learning, and mature. While Rin will stare and mew if he wants to sit in your lap, Gurathin just appears there, calm, quiet, and collected. He has a rare independence for kittens his age, and even though he always happens to be where the action is, he is totally OK doing his own thing.

Together, they make a fun and affectionate pair!

Like many young kittens, they both experienced an upper respiratory infection when they were taken into foster care and received veterinary treatment. Even though they are doing well, they may occasionally show symptoms such as sneezing, watery eyes, or mild congestion in the future.

These kittens are exceptionally well-socialized, affectionate, and confident. They enjoy human interaction, seek out attention, are comfortable being handled, and adapt well to new people and environments.

What Gurathin and Rin are looking for in a home:

- They have lots of kitten energy and will benefit from plenty of active play time.
- They need to live indoors only.
- They have a positive history with other cats and may like having a feline friend close to their age.
- They have no known history with children.

All Alley Cat Projects cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated prior to adoption.

Alley Cat Project adoption fees are:

- $200 per cat or kitten
- $350 for pair of cats or kittens
- $50 for senior cat (over 8 years old)
- Flexible reduced fees for a cat with a chronic medical condition that requires ongoing care
- Additional charitable donations are appreciated and support our overall rescue efforts
