Meet Poppy and Alfalfa Two littermates who are best buds! They are almost three months old. They were born on March 22, 2026 in their foster moms bathtub, so they have always known indoor life and humans.

Poppy is a female, short-haired black kitty who has a subtle chocolate undercoat. She is the most adventurous and free-spirited of her litter. Poppy was the first to explore out of the nesting box, first to escape out of the bathroom, and first to jump into the litter box. Poppy loves playing (her favorite toys are anything she can hold in her mouth like a huntress) and running around with her littermates.

Alfalfa is a male, short-haired black kitty who has a distinct white patch on his lower tummy. He has a gorgeous chocolate and smokey undercoat, as well as subtle white ear fur. Alfalfa can spend hours hanging out in his foster moms arms. He loves having his ears and toe beans pet during these moments. Alfalfas favorite things to do are eating (his the largest in his litter) and chasing his siblings. He also loves finding toys to bring to them for more play time.

Together, Poppy and Alfalfa make a loving and compatible pair that will bring joy to their future home.

What Poppy and Alfalfa are looking for in a home:

- They want to stay together forever and must be adopted as a pair.
- They have lots of kitten energy and will benefit from plenty of active play time.
- They feel at ease in a quiet and calm environment.
- They need to live indoors only.
- They have a positive history with other cats and may like having a feline friend close to their age.
- They get along with children.
- They need children to respect their space.

All Alley Cat Projects cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated prior to adoption.

Alley Cat Project adoption fees are:

- $200 per cat or kitten
- $350 for pair of cats or kittens
- $50 for senior cat (over 8 years old)
- Flexible reduced fees for a cat with a chronic medical condition that requires ongoing care
- Additional charitable donations are appreciated and support our overall rescue efforts
