Francine - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Francine is a curious and cuddly little calico. Although she came into foster care quite shy, she transformed from hiding out cautiously into always finding a spot where she can observe what is going on. She's always up for playing with a toy that she can leap for, although sometimes she becomes distracted by her delight in the stick that the toy is attached to. Francine will occasionally express her desire for a cuddle by coming to cozy up alongside her human friends. More often, she watches from nearby, but offers not protest whatsoever when scooped up for a snuggle. Her purrs begin pretty instantly once you scratch the top of her head, between her eyes and on her bottom. She seems to have a little more interest in touch than she asks for, and will likely continue to bloom into a cuddle bug. She's a really nice blend of a sweet kitten who enjoys human companionship, but who doesn't demand constant attention. The one time when Francine cannot contain her excitement is when it's time for her wet food. Be ready to tip toe carefully around her when she knows it's meal time and needs to be right at your feet, ready to dig in a soon as her bowl is presented. All in all, this beautiful kitten is more than meets the eye -- a gorgeous girl, but also plenty sweet with even more sweetness ready to be unlocked by her forever family.
