Cimani - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

This gorgeous calico is ready for her own person to call her own! She is 2 years old and in good health, aside from a few extra pounds (which has improved since being with PAWS due to a combo of feeding her two meals a day and increasing her play time). Cimani is definitely a grazer - she will munch on her kibble throughout the day and night. She love dry food & is still deciding the types of wet food she enjoys (flakes over pate so far! She loves to play with cat toys (especially at night) and loves toys on strings.

Cimani is quick to greet when I hang out in her room! She is, however, quite opinionated about hand scratches & pats. She will allow a few scratches but is quick to let you know she is done - we love a girl with boundaries! She far more enjoys endless scratches with a wooden back scratcher - she turns into a biscuit and purr factor! As she is a bit tricky in this area, Cimani would thrive best with an experienced cat adopter and should go to an adults only home.

Cimani is FIV/FELV negative. She has had a lot of positive interactions with the laid back cats who reside in the foster home - she would likely do well with another polite cat in the home or as an only cat. She also doesn't seem to mind the (cat savvy) dogs in the foster home - but is quick to put them in their place if they are too much for her.
