Cowbird - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Meet Cowbird, and despite his name we can confirm that he is approximately 0% cow nor bird, but is 100% doodle-y good boy!

Cowbird recently arrived to PAWS as a stray so we are still learning more about him, but so far in addition to being a former muppet (who recently got a much needed summer shave) he has proven himself to be an amazing companion. Cowbird also seems like he has previous home experience, especially since he already knows sit, happily offers a paw/shake, and seems to already have quite a few manners as well as some prior training experience!

While we don't know what Cowbird's life looked like before now, we do know that he's been incredibly sweet and friendly with everyone he's met, and seems like he'd be an amazing addition to any family in need of their very own lovable guy. Beneath all of that magnificent mop is an even more handsome face and an amazing personality that have just waiting to make their debut with you!

This dog is considered a mixed breed because it's not accurate to identify breed mix by sight alone, so for most dogs, their mix is only a guess. We get to know each dog as an individual and strive to make matches based on personality, not on breed label.

This dog is currently located at PAWS Grays Ferry Clinic, which is not a walk-in facility.
