Halsey - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in New York, New York

Upon approach, Halsey is laying on top of his den, observing the assessor with wide eyes as they approach. When the kennel door is opened and he is spoken to softly, he gets down from the top of the den, approaching the assessor with a tense body and low tail. After a bit more soft talk he appears to relax, tail raising and leaning forward to head bunt the assessor's hand. Halsey allows and leans into all petting, purring and making biscuits as he is pet, tail vibrating. He is able to be easily picked up, remaining calm and continuing to make biscuits as he is pet. When he is placed back into the kennel, he remains at the front, continuing to make biscuits and lean into all further petting.
