Ramen - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in New York, New York

Ramen is standing upright in his den as the assessor approaches, poking his head out of the portal exit of the den with slightly dilated pupils as the kennel door is opened. When he is spoken to softly, he is initially hesitant before exiting the den, approaching the front of the kennel and greeting the assessor with a soft head bunt. When noises occur around the room, he cranes his neck to look towards the source of the sounds. His attention is easily refocused with petting and soft talk, and he continues to head bunt the assessor's hand, allowing and leaning into all petting. Ramen is able to be easily picked up, remaining calm when he is held. When placed back into the kennel, he remains at the front and continues to allow all further petting.

Ramen interacts with the observer, solicits & appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for cat parents with either an average amount of cat experience or demonstrate a basic understanding of typical cat behavior.
