Meet Midnight

Midnight is a sweet, super-friendly guy of about 6 years old who has been through a lot-and is finally ready for the happy ending he deserves.

Midnight was originally found by a caring person who noticed this little guy was struggling and took him in to help.

When Midnight arrived in her care, he needed some serious medical attention. He had suffered from a severe eye infection that had gone untreated for far too long. For his overall quality of life-and to prevent further complications-the decision was made to remove the affected eye. He also had a painful case of stomatitis, a severe inflammation of the mouth, and removing his teeth was necessary for his health and well-being.

Thankfully, those difficult days are behind him!

After receiving the care he needed, his caregiver surrendered him to Homeward Bound Cat Adoptions so we could help him find a loving home. His mouth is now healthy, there are no stomatitis ulcers, and that awful drooling is gone. And don't worry about mealtime-Midnight still eats like a champ, including hard food!

He does still have remnants of a very bad haircut, but we're pretty sure Midnight isn't particularly concerned about his beauty routine.

And his personality? Absolutely wonderful. Midnight is super friendly and ready to enjoy all the things he missed out on: a soft place to sleep, a safe home, loving people, and plenty of attention.

Midnight may look a little different, but he doesn't let that stop him from being a happy, loving cat. He's been through the hard part. Now he just needs someone to show him how wonderful life can be.
