Dolly Purrton - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Las Vegas, Nevada

Meet Dolly - a little lady with a big heart!

Named in honor of Dolly Parton, this beautiful gray tabby arrived at Homeward Bound Cat Adoptions after showing up on a kind person's patio looking for a safe place to land.

When she first arrived, Dolly was understandably scared. She hissed, startled easily, and wasn't quite sure she could trust people. But give this girl a little time, patience, and love... and WOW.

Within just a week, she was allowing her new friend to pet her, brush her, and even give her a gentle wipe-down. She's discovering that people can be pretty wonderful after all!

Dolly has beautiful light green eyes, a healthy appetite, and a sweet little voice. She even met the resident cats through the screen door and responded with curious meows rather than hisses.

We think there's a loving companion hiding beneath that initially shy exterior-and she's ready to let that side of herself shine.

Dolly at a glance:

Dolly has already taken some big steps. Now she just needs someone willing to give her the time and patience to become the sweet, loving girl we know she can be.

Come meet Dolly. Her next chapter is waiting.
