Meet Starsky & Hutch!

These two handsome 1-year-old boys have already been through more than they should have at their age-and now they're hoping their next chapter is together.

Starsky and Hutch were left behind when their neighbors moved away. They spent about a week and a half outside before a caring community member was able to bring them to safety. And when she pulled up to her house, one of these boys came right up to her.

Because apparently, these two did not get the memo that they were supposed to be street cats.

Both boys are friendly, calm and pretty laid-back. They've also done well around other cats, and while they don't appear especially bonded, we'd love to see Starsky and Hutch find a loving home together.

Hutch is the total sweetheart of the pair. He loves being petted, enjoys head scratches and doesn't mind being picked up and held. He's affectionate, easygoing and very happy to hang out with his people.

Starsky is a little more... particular. He loves attention and will happily sit in your lap while you work, but he prefers to decide when and how much affection he wants. If he gets overstimulated-or decides you're taking WAY too long to give him the attention he requested-he may deliver a few little "love bites" to make his opinion known.

Starsky has also shown more interest in toys, while both boys are pretty content to embrace their inner couch potato.

In other words:

Hutch: "Please pet me."
Starsky: "You may pet me. I will let you know when we are done."

Together, they're a pretty great combination.
