Please note: All AVA kittens under 12 months of age MUST be adopted in pairs or to a home with another young cat ( under 3 ) or kitten to keep them company. Two is better than one, twice the fun and 1/2 the work
Update Oct 24th - Merlin is now at the Global Pet Store, 255 Dundas St W in Waterdown, go pay this cutie a visit.
Merlin came in to our rescue mid September from Hamilton Animal Services - he had a rear right fracture of his tibia. Went to the vet and it was felt that becasue he was just about 7 weeks and the fracture was involved the growth plate fixation would cause more issues. The bones were aligned and he went on cage rest for several weeks. Final xrays showed healed nicely - there is a callus there and his rear leg may be a little shorter but he runs, jumps and plays just like any other kitten. He is now ready for adoption. He has been flea treated , dewormed twice, received 2 sets of FVCRP vaccines and microchip. His rabies vaccine will be the responsiblity of his new owner and completed prior to his neuter by AVA at 5months which is included in his $350 adoption fee. Merlin is full of energy, loud purrs, he loves playing with his toys, snuggling with you and he loves the cat condo. He must go to a home with another young cat ( under 3 ) or kitten to keep him company. He would be great with older children. AVA has an indoor and no declaw policy.
