Brutus - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Johnston, Rhode Island

Meet shy, sweet, gentle BRUTUS! BRUTUS is a handsome hunk with a gorgeous soft, plush jet-black coat. He has the kindest, green eyes that draw you right in! Our vet staff estimates BRUTUS to be approximately between two to four years old.

BRUTUS was found as a stray roaming a tough neighborhood. He was humanely trapped with minimal effort and brought to the safety and security of our cat center. Although he was slightly wary upon arrival, he settled in and adjusted to the shelter environment fairly well. Thanks to the dedicated, consistent help of our socialization/enrichment volunteers, BRUTUS has made great strides as long as he is allowed to set the pace and become comfortable on his terms. BRUTUS is a kind, reserved boy and a "no fuss" kind-of-cat. He is calm, well-mannered, and enjoys one-on-one attention. BRUTUS likes gentle scritches to his head and ears. He adores a cozy cat bed or soft blanket to snuggle and snooze the day away. BRUTUS equally loves playtime with his feline friends. BRUTUS is FIV positive which is no biggie as long as he lives the indoor-only life from now on, maintains a quality diet, and sees a vet for annual checkups. BRUTUS would make an ideal pet and loyal feline friend to that one special person or growing family looking for comforting feline companionship.

Neutered, Rabies and FVRCP vaccinated, FeLV tested negative, FIV tested POSITIVE, Flea preventative applied and Microchipped.
